On Tuesday 21 of October 2008, Optalert signed a distribution and agency agreement with Teknos S.A. a Chilean company based in Santiago. Teknos will play an integral role in developing Optalert’s presence within both the mining and transport sectors in South America.
Teknos have operated in Chile and South America since 1975. Their core business capabilities lay within the fields of communication solutions in voice, data and video. In addition, Teknos provide CCTV control solutions for some of South America's best known businesses.
